Bob spent his career as a general surgeon and medical educator, primarily in Coeur d’Alene. He has a passion for education and currently works part time educating medical students and family medicine residents in his family medicine residency. He is honored to serve on the board, whose mission is to preserve and improve the wild beauty of Idaho including all its flora and fauna. In his free time, Bob and his wife enjoy spending time in the Great Outdoors. He has an addiction to fly fishing, but also likes to raft, hike, camp, ski, hunt, and travel. He loves Idaho and wants to keep it a wild, scenic place with plenty of wilderness. He jokes with people that he teaches trout the right and wrong things to eat. One of his goals is to ensure there will always be fish in Idaho to educate.
